If you’re at a loose end on Saturday November 2nd and want to get in a work out AND do something great for charity then look no further than the Hard Rock Café’s Inaugural 5k Race. The 3.1 mile course starts and ends at the world-famous Hollywood and Highland Center and will take runners down star-studded Hollywood Boulevard. And it’s all for a fantastic cause as proceeds will go to local charity, My Friend’s Place, which helps to raise awareness and funds for homeless youth. The non-profit organization, which was launched 25 years ago, helps nearly 1,600 young people that don’t have homes and assists and inspires them to build self-sufficient lives. On race day, there will be music, entertainment, celebrity guests and food provided by Hard Rock Café for all the runners. So lace up your sneakers and rock out for this great cause. Go to www.runhardrockcafe.com to donate and register for the race. Happy Racing!
