Exercise manifests itself in so many ways for those seeking self-improvement. The more we push ourselves physically, I think the more likely we are to push ourselves in other aspects of life. You only get one body, so you might as well push it to see what it is capable of! Also, you might as well take care of it. My coach in college always said "look good, feel good, play good." Very simplistic but very true. People are happier when they are healthier, and they tend to feel better about themselves physically. My goal as a group fitness instructor is to not make you share my love for exercise, but to hopefully help you hate exercise a little less.
The human body an incredibly versatile machine meant to move and perform. Unfortunately, contemporary living has made us physically and mentally weak. Since people rarely venture outside of their comfort zones, they rarely are able to seek the best version of themselves. Exercise will reveal this. Working out is not easy because it directly opposes what our inherent instinct is telling us. Many people need help, motivation, and initiative. This is where my responsibility lies as a group fitness instructor. My philosophy is to help people get somewhere they most likely couldn't get by themselves; give them a workout they couldn't do on their own.
I go to Froyo at least three times per week. I have a membership rewards card.
